STEP-1:

How to create a Youtube Channel

Assuming you have created your youtube account, now is the time to create a Youtube Channel. A Youtube channel is your official presence. Simply go to the My Channel tab in the left panel on your dashboard as shown in the picture below.

To do that click your User icon on the top-right corner and click on Creator Studio as shown below:

In the Creator Studio screen, you should be able to see a number of options on the left menu. From the left menu, you can manage your videos, setup Live video streaming, change your subscription settings, check your visitor trends, configure branding for your videos, and of course, enable monetization for your videos. To do that click on the Channel drop-down on the left panel and click on Monetization. Now you need to click on the Enable monetization button as shown below:

To do that you will have to go to the Video Manager from the left panel. Once you’re in the Video manager you will be able to see the list of videos that you have uploaded. On the right side of each video, you can see a $ sign. To enable monetization simply click on the $. Then you will be taken to the next screen where you will see the monetize with ads option. You will have to enable it as shown below:

Once you have done that, the hard part is over. You have enabled your videos for monetization.

STEP-5:

This step is the most important one so you have to go through it very carefully. First, you need to understand how earning from videos really works. As mentioned above, Youtube earns its money from Google Adsense which is a payment platform for publishers. To be able to show ads on your videos and make money with youtube, you need to have a Google Adsense account and then you need to link it with your Youtube account.
